Surface preparation
The scope of services includes removing traces of CNC and EDM machining, leveling and smoothing surfaces, removing minor scratches, imperfections and machining residues, and preparing the surface for further polishing.
Services / Polishing
We tailor the polishing process to the geometry, material, and desired surface quality. The goal is high-quality detail, repeatability, and longer tool life.
Scope
The scope of services includes removing traces of CNC and EDM machining, leveling and smoothing surfaces, removing minor scratches, imperfections and machining residues, and preparing the surface for further polishing.
It includes polishing of cavities, cores, inserts, sliders and other mold components, machining surfaces of simple and complex geometries, obtaining the required surface quality and repeatability.
The use of diamond pastes with appropriately selected gradation allows for very low roughness and high gloss.
Precise machining of hard-to-reach places, polishing of narrow ribs, deep recesses, corners and complex geometries, the ability to obtain high-quality surfaces with limited access to the processed area.
Finishing surfaces requiring high gloss, used, among others, for visual details.
The highest level of surface finishing, achieving a mirror-like finish, is used in components requiring very high surface quality, including optical components.
We achieve final surface quality in accordance with the requirements of technical documentation and specific standards, including SPI A1–A3 and SPI B1–B3. Selecting the appropriate processing method and sequence allows us to achieve the required surface quality while maintaining the geometry and functionality of the mold element.
